If you suffer from digestive issues, high blood pressure, diabetes, anxiety, you might want to include celery in your diet. Functional medicine and integrative medicine look at the whole body to heal what is ailing you. This includes what you eat. Celery juice benefits are numerous. It can help with inflammation, heals and activates the gut, lowers cholesterol, lowers blood pressure, helps the liver, improves digestion, fights infection. Who knew that celery water would have so many great benefits! The benefits of drinking celery juice outweigh the lack in taste in my opinion. For the full effect you do want to drink it alone but if you are starting out and don’t like the taste, then add a bit of lemon, a banana or apple to sweeten it up.
